Exchange Rate is a story about a mother who is struggling to make ends meet. She makes sense of her daily sacrifices, by imagining how she is exchanging them for a better future for her daughter. It's a story that shines a light on the cost-of-living crisis many ordinary families are facing right now, but also contains universal and timeless themes of parental love, defiance in adversity and hope for a better future.
