A film made independently about my father, it follows a journey of creativity turned on its head when the materials of creation reveal their nasty side effects within a chemical darkroom. 

This film began a process of documenting discussions and perspectives unique to myself and relationship to my dad as he processed the diagnosis of cancer which came through exposure to toxic chemistry used in darkroom processing. Exposing himself over 40 years in a darkroom, driven by the burning desire to interpret feelings and emotions felt in the landscape through himself onto paper. 

This project began shooting in April 2022 and a teaser screening was shown for the closing of the 'ADORE' exhibition at Arnolfini in Bristol. This is available to view on request.
